Wyndham Hotel Group has added a new Ramada in New Zealand, following the rebranding of a lakeside resort in Rotorua.
The former WorldMark Resort Rotorua, which is set on the banks of Lake Rotorua, has been renamed the Ramada Resort Rotorua Marama.
The property features 78 apartments with kitchens, laundry facilities and outdoor deck areas, plus an outdoor pool, spa, barbecue areas, a gym and tennis court. Guests will be able to take boat rides on the lake or trout fishing trips.
“Ramada is a highly recognisable, global brand known for offering outstanding accommodations in key destinations around the world,” said Barry Robinson, Wyndham’s president & managing director for Southeast Asia and Pacific Rim.
“WorldMark Resort Rotorua has long been a favourite of vacation owners in the WorldMark South Pacific Club, and it’s our belief that this rebranding will help deliver even more guests to the resort, allowing travellers from around the world the opportunity to experience all that Rotorua has to offer.”
The new property becomes the fifth Ramada in New Zealand and comes just a month after the launch of the brand’s first property in Auckland.
