Regal Riverside launches low carbon menu
Regal Riverside Hotel, Hong Kong, has announced plans to launch a new ‘Low Carbon Menu’ in July. The menu will use local, seasonal ingredients aimed at reducing the energy consumed and carbon dioxide produced during the transportation and food processing, so as to reduce damage to the environment. The dishes will also reduce amounts of food additives and use low-energy cooking methods.
The hotel will offer two menus – the traditional low carbon menu and the vegetarian low carbon menu – featuring dishes such as Lobster Medallions with Green Apple and Tomato Jelly.
