Regent Hotels selects Sabre
Regent Hotels & Resorts has selected Sabre Hospitality Solutions to help its marketing and distribution.
Taiwan-based Formosa International Hotels Corporation (FIHC) will switch Regent’s GDS chain code, RE, to the SynXis Central Reservation System (CRS) in the second quarter of 2011. In addition to GDS distribution, Regent’s properties will benefit from all of Sabre’s marketing solutions across all channels including online travel agents (OTA), direct connects, the Guest Connect website booking engine, call centre services and mobile booking platforms.

The Regent properties are located in Beijing, Berlin, Bordeaux, Taipei, Turks & Caicos, Singapore and Zagreb. Regent also looks to return to gateway cities in Regent history such as Hong Kong, New York, Los Angeles, London and Shanghai in addition to the pipeline projects in Abu Dhabi, Bali, Bangkok, Doha, Dubrovnik, Gurgaon, Kuala Lumpur, Maldives, Phuket, and Puerto Rico.
