Leger to the rescue
Leger Holidays has launched a rescue mission for UK holidaymakers stranded in Europe due to on-going airport closures. The leading European coach tour operator has been drafted in by major holiday group TUI to help with the repatriation of its holidaymakers trapped abroad. Huw Williams, Marketing Director at Leger Holidays, commented: “We are currently working with a number of major tour operators to do all that we can to help passengers stranded abroad return to the UK. We have been involved in TUI’s rescue effort which is hoping to return 5,000 passengers home as soon as possible. We are also working alongside Virgin Holidays.”
