Royal Brunei Airlines is planning to resume flights to Vietnam.
Effective 17 October 2014, the airline will launch four weekly flights to Ho Chi Minh City from Brunei’s capital, Bandar Seri Begawan.
“Our commercial team do regular route studies to develop and increase connectivity for our markets,” said Royal Brunei’s deputy chairman, Dermot Mannion.
“In their latest studies, Ho Chi Minh City has emerged a frontrunner in providing connections for key markets from Melbourne, Dubai and London and also for regional destinations like Kota Kinabalu.
“We are delighted to include Ho Chi Minh City, an exciting holiday and business destination, into our network,” he added.
The new route will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and Sundays, using either an Airbus A319 or A320 aircraft.
