MIAMI, 24 November, 2009 - Global cruise line Royal Caribbean International has reached yet another milestone in the company’s history with the “floating out” of Allure of the Seas. The next Oasis-class ship, Allure of the Seas was moved from dry dock to wet dock on Friday at the STX Europe shipyard in Turku, Finland, signaling that the second of the world’s largest and most revolutionary cruise ship is nearing completion and will soon be ready to welcome its own guests onboard.
Adam Goldstein, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International said:
“This is simply a thrilling time for Royal Caribbean. Oasis of the Seas has been welcoming her first guests these past few days, and to think that Allure of the Seas will follow suit in just one short year is just extraordinary.”
When the ship launches in December 2010, Allure of the Seas will offer the many features and amenities currently being introduced by Oasis of the Sea and will share the accolade of ‘world’s largest and most revolutionary cruise ship’. From seven themed neighbourhoods - Central Park, Boardwalk, the Royal Promenade, Pool & Sports Zone, Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center, Entertainment Place and Youth Zone - to unparalleled dining, shopping and entertainment, Allure of the Seas will continue to deliver the outstanding experience Royal Caribbean International is known for.
Royal Caribbean International is a global cruise brand with 21 ships currently in service and one under construction. The line also offers unique cruise tour land packages in Alaska, Canada, Dubai, Europe, and Australia and New Zealand.
