Screen Tourism conference announces speaker line-up

VisitBritain’s chief executive has been named as a keynote speaker at this year’s Screen Tourism conference. Sandie Dawe will also be joined by the tourist agency’s partner marketing manager Alson McKay at the event, which will be held at BAFTA on 18 March. Other speakers on the line-up include Lady Carnarvon of Highclere Castle (location of Downtown Abbey); Harvey Edgington, broadcast and film liason officer at the National Trust; Lewis Swan from Brit MovieTours, David Curtis-Brignell of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels; David Sim from film consultancy Open Brolly and international film tourism journalist Nicki Grihault. Tour guides and representatives from film festivals around the world will also speak at the event, which has been launched to coincide with British Tourism Week.
