Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts is opening a new hotel in Qinhuangdao, a one of the most popular seaside resorts for residents of Beijing.
The new Shangri-La Hotel Qinhuangdao is located on the shores of the Bohai Bay, 15 minutes’ drive from the train station that offers high-speed rail links to both Beijing and Tianjin.
The 23-storey, glass-clad hotel forms part Golden Dream Bay complex, a new residential and entertainment zone. The property’s 330 rooms and suites are among the largest in the city, ranging from 45 to 135m² and all offering floor-to-ceiling windows. Most rooms also have private balconies overlooking the bay.
Facilities at the Shangri-La Hotel Qinhuangdao include two restaurants, including one with an outdoor garden area, a lobby lounge, indoor free-form swimming pool, gym, jacuzzi and spa with nine treatment rooms.
For the MICE market, there are 11 function rooms spread across two floors, including a 1,658m² ballroom – the largest in the city.
Shangri-La Hotel Qinhuangdao becomes the company’s 43rd hotel in mainland China, with a further 11 in the pipeline.
