Singapore discusses business ties with Al Habtoor Group

A senior Singaporean delegation recently met up with Khalaf Al Habtoor, chairman, Al Habtoor Group to talk about synergies between UAE and Singapore and potential collaboration and investment opportunities for both parties.
Khalaf Al Habtoor said, “Singapore is a good model as it is a story of great success. Like the UAE, it has emerged as a financial and trading hub serving the region and it has transformed itself into at world class metropolis. There are many synergies between us that we can both capitalize.”
The high-profile delegation from Singapore was welcomed by Mohammed Al Habtoor, Vice Chairman and CEO, Paul Rayner, Advisor to the Chairman, Sanjeev Agarwala, Director Strategy and Business Development. The delegation from Singapore included HE Umej Bhatia, Ambassador, Embassy of the Republic of Singapore in Abu Dhabi; Cheong Ming Foong, Consul-General, Republic of Singapore in Dubai; Lester Lu, Consul (Commercial) and Regional Director, Middle East & Africa Group, International Enterprise Singapore; Khalil A Bakar, Centre Director, Singapore Economic Development Board; Mohamed Hafez Marican, Area Director Middle East & Africa.
