Six Senses has expanded its online presence with the launch of new websites in Russian and Chinese.
The new sites mirror the content and functionality found on the brand’s English language site, sixsenses.com, allowing Chinese and Russian guests to search and book Six Senses hotels in their own language.
In addition, the luxury resort company has launched new Chinese-language social media platforms on WeChat, Youku and Sina Weibo.
Combined, the Russian and Chinese markets now represent 17% of Six Senses’ global room nights.
“The launch of the new language sites and social media platforms in China will better harness the power of Six Senses online testimonials and communications by increasing our global community of fans and followers. Success will also be measured by SEO, Google rankings and organic search. We look forward to engaging and connecting with past and future guests of the brand at ru.sixsenses.com and cn.sixsenses.com,” said Julia Gajcak, Six Senses’ vice president of marketing & communications.
And Six Senses will continue to expand its language capabilities in future; the company has already launched Japanese ‘mini language site’, which will soon be followed by nine similar sites, in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean and Arabic.
