Six Senses’ Resorts Soneva Fushi and Soneva Gili are to host guests of BA’s celebratory trip to the Maldives this month. The visit is to celebrate the launch of the airline’s direct flights to the Maldives introduced in October. A small selection of high-end trade agents and operators, BA officials and UK press have been invited on a three night trip taking in a collection of some of the Maldives finest hotels. They will stay at the Maldives first luxury resort Soneva Fushi and its over-the-water younger sister Soneva Gili.
The three day itinerary starts at Soneva Fushi where guests will be invited to explore the facilities including the beautiful Six Senses Spa, tour the resort’s impressive recycling ‘Waste to Wealth Eco Centro’ and dine at Fresh in the Garden, the timber restaurant on stilts serving the freshest ingredients from the resort’s organic gardens. The next day takes in site orientations at the Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru and One & Only Reethi Rah before flying to Soneva Gili. The final morning will be spent at Huvafen Fushi before transferring back to Soneva Gili for the last night Gala Dinner attended by the President of the Maldives, dignitaries and General Managers and representatives from the other Maldives resorts.
