Spring Airlines will launch its first flights to Singapore next month.
Commencing on 25 April 2014, the Chinese low-cost carrier will operate daily services between Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Singapore’s Changi Airport, using its all-economy Airbus A320 aircraft.
The new service will depart Shanghai at 1220 each day, arriving in Singapore at 1750. The return service will then leave Changi at 1915, getting back into Pudong Airport at 0020 the next day.
The move marks the latest stage in Spring’s Southeast Asian expansion. The budget carrier currently operates to several regional hubs including Bangkok, Phuket and Siem Reap. And from the end of this month it will also start flying to Chiang Mai and Danang.
