Indonesia’s Sriwijaya Air is planning to add eight more aircraft to its fleet. The Jakarta Post reported a company spokesperson as saying that the new Boeing 737-300s and 737-400s would be used to boost existing routes and launch new services. The airline is reportedly planning to bolster its services from Bandar Lampang, potentially launching new routes connecting the southern Sumatra hub with Yogyakarta and Palembang, as well as increasing flights to and from Jakarta.
