Travel consortia TIPTO has appointed its first female board director following its AGM earlier this month. Zena Calderbank from Hoseasons is to join the board as vice chair after Julian Patchett from Brittany Ferries stepped down from the role in May. Bourne Leisure’s Allan Lambert will continue to be chairman of TIPTO for his second and final year. “TIPTO continues to go from strength to strength,” he said. “New initiatives introduced in year twelve have been well supported by independent travel retailers and we will continue to develop the TIPTO offering to ensure agents have all the tools needed to maximise the sale of members’ holidays.”
