Tirupati opens tourist complex

The Tirupati Tirumala Devastham (TTD) which runs the popular pilgrim centre in Andhra Pradesh has opened a new tourist complex offering 408 rooms, spread over more than four acres. Out of the 408 rooms, 204 rooms are air-conditioned and 24 are dormitories. Apart from accommodation facilities, the complex offers restaurants, ATMs and other facilities like waiting hall for pilgrims. Tirupati is one of the most visited pilgrim places in the India, attracting more than 10 million devotees to the hill shrine.
