TravelCube has recorded a 40 percent rise in year-on-year bookings throughout January. The GTA division company, formerly known as Octopus Travel, has attributed the rise to its ‘solidified ties’ with consortiums and retail travel agencies, which have generated sales. “I am pleased with my regional account managers’ dedication in penetrating the market with existing clients,” said Paul Hewer, country manager UK and Ireland for TravelCube. “The loyalty of our clients has been pivotal to sales being so strong in the first half of the year.” The booking system has also bumped up its inventory with several hotel chains including Shangri-La, Accor, InterContinental and Hilton.
