TUI sets up tourism think tank

TUI AG, one of Europe’s largest tourism groups, has set up a think tank for leisure and tourism. The aim of the initiative is to have forward-thinking discussions of aspects important to the future tourism industry. “We want to create an instrument which we can use to identify developments and trends which are especially influential and significant for our industry in the long term so that we can subsequently develop suitable strategic corporate approaches,” said TUI chief executive Michael Frenzel. “The social and demographic changes as well as external factors influencing tourism are increasing.
