Vietnam arrivals surge 30.2% in February

Vietnam saw a strong rebound in international arrivals last month. According to a Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) report, arrivals last month climbed 30.2% year-on-year to 446,323. Visitors from China, taking advantage of the Lunar New Year holiday period, led the revival, with 69,358 arrivals - a huge 90.8% rise compared to February 2009. Vietnam has targeted 4.2-4.5 million foreign tourists in 2010.
