Vietnam’s tourism sector has been a main beneficiary of foreign investment flowing into the country, Reuters reported.
According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, last year saw 47 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects pouring US$1.86 billion into this sector.
The ministry said foreign investors are keen on entertainment parks, hotels, resorts and golf courses.
One of the largest projects is the US$1 billion project by the Banyan Tree group in central Vietnam.
