Huge waves have washed away as many as 150 homes in a coastal area of Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. The Antara news agency reported that the mostly-stilted houses in the Buol district have been battered by severe waves over the past few days, forcing people to find shelter further inland. Authorities in the area were reported saying that waves often hit the area at this time of year, but this year has been worse than expected.
