China operator Wendy Wu Tours has unveiled new river tours as part of its Asia River Cruising brochure for 2016-2017.
The 17 group and private tours include trips along Burma’s Irrawaddy and Chindwin, India’s Brahmaputra, the Mekong river in Laos, as well as China’s Yunnan province and the Red River in Vietnam. The tours range from 10 – 17 days and have been designed and tested by Wendy Wu Tours’ expert guides.
Prices start from £2,690pp for the 10 day ‘Ultimate Yangtze’ journey, whilst the longest tour is the 21-day ‘Mekong Odyssey’ trip from £4,790pp, both on a fully inclusive basis.
All Southeast Asia tours include a Pandaw river cruise, whose luxury ships are designed to explore remote areas that other ships can’t reach. Pandaw cruises are renowned for their attentive staff (often a 2:1 passenger to crew ratio), an eco-friendly ethos that supports local communities, on-board activities including cooking classes and shore excursions to main cultural destinations as well as lesser known sights and villages.
