Rotana has announced plans to reach 100 hotels by 2020 as part of an aggressive development strategy.
A further 12 are due to open in the rest of 2014 and throughout 2015 alone, adding 3, 360 rooms across Middle East and Africa.
Hotels are due to be opened in destinations including Amman, Istanbul, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Riyadh and Bahrain.
“The extension of the Rotana brand into new markets represents a key milestone and important achievement for the group. With a carefully considered international development strategy in place, we are constantly looking for growth opportunities and both Jordan and Turkey presented opportunities for Rotana to extend our award-winning hospitality offering,” said Omer Kaddouri, president and CEO of Rotana.
He added: “In particular, a breakthrough into Turkey is a significant landmark for Rotana as this is a new territory for us in which we will be introducing the values that are essential in making us the leading hotel management company in the region.”
