18th World Routes Development Forum kicks off today

The 18th World Route Development Forum has 
commenced in Abu Dhabi today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). Hosted by Abu Dhabi Airports Company, the Forum will run from September 29th – Oct 2nd providing a cross-industry platform for decision makers to discuss key on-going topics impacting the aviation industry.
Key topics to be discussed across the three-days include: taxation; rising oil prices; aeropolitics; environmental factors; sustainable route development; economic development; and, general regional perspectives on aviation and its potential for growth.
The event welcomed more than 2,700 CEOs and senior professionals from airlines, airports and tourism authorities across more than 80 countries.
