Phocuswright 2016: The 9th Annual Edition of the Summit and the Winners

Collectively since the formal launch of the Innovation program by Phocuswright in 2008, 260 innovators have received over $2b in funding.

In day one of the Innovation portion of the conference, known as Battleground, over 500 people listened to the various startup phase companies pitch their ideas and products.   Each company presented for just over 6.5 minutes and then spent another 3.5 minutes in the Dragon’s Den.  The winners were announced at the end of the day on Monday.

Day two of the conference is known as the Summit and it included 24 companies, including the 3 winners of Battleground. This Summit is pinnacle of any young company seeking to showcase a new innovation to the travel industry. Summit, presented by Brand USA – VisitTheUSA.com, takes place prime time on the main stage, in front of travel’s most discerning audience.
