Aston breaks ground on new Makassar hotel

Aston International has marked the ground-breaking of a new select-service hotel in Makassar, Sulawesi.

Developed by and PT Frande Jaya Resort, the favehotel Kasuari Makassar will feature 108 rooms, as well as a coffee shop and several meeting rooms. The hotel is located near the city’s Losari Beach promenade.

“favehotel’s aim is to be the best-in-class budget hotels in Southeast Asia and Aston’s goal for Indonesia is to offer the largest, most consistent and most reliable network of budget hotels in the country. Bringing fave to Makassar is an important step towards this goal and increases the number of faves currently already open or under construction to 30 hotels,” said Aston’s Vice President Sales & Marketing, Norbert Vas.     
 
The new favehotel Kasuari Makassar will join existing favehotels in Jakarta, Bali, Solo, Surabaya and Langkawi.
