Malaysia showcases strong participation at ATM

A 129-member tourism trade delegation from Malaysia will be participating at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM). This will be the Malaysia Tourism’s 19th year of participation, demonstrating the country’s efforts in attracting more tourists, particularly from West Asia, to its shores.
Leading the Malaysian delegation is Zulkifly Md Said, Tourism Malaysia’s director for international marketing division (South Asia/ West Asia/ Africa).
The 129- delegation comprises 76 government and private sector organisations, which include 43 hotels, 22 travel & tour operators, 7 State Governments, and 4 tourism product operators.
The focus this year will be the promotion of the states in the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia, as well as the states of Sabah and Sarawak. The delegation will also be conducting a sales mission across Riyadh and Jeddah, from May 4th – 8th. The sales mission aims to further strengthen Malaysia’s presence in the market.
