The seven resorts at the Laguna Phuket complex recently hosted the Thai holiday island’s largest-ever corporate gathering.
More than 18,000 representatives of Amway China gathered at Laguna for the sales company’s annual month-long leadership seminar. The event, which was held from 16 April to 15 May 2012, included a comprehensive programme of dinners, business sessions and sightseeing, based at the resort’s seven hotel and villa properties: Best Western Allamanda, Outrigger Laguna Phuket, Laguna Holiday Club Resort, Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket, Angsana Laguna Phuket, Banyan Tree Phuket and Laguna Beach Resort.
During the month, the resorts hosted 21 Chinese buffet dinners, each seating approximately 900 delegates.

“I believe the Amway China event will create great publicity, further opening the door to the China market.”
