Disney offers Pixar inspired cruises

Characters from Disney Pixar’s most popular films are to feature on four special seven-night ‘California Coastal’ cruises aboard Disney Wonder this autumn.
Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Remy, Mr. Incredible, Jessie and other characters will interact with passengers aboard the Pixar-inspired voyages calling into San Francisco, San Diego, Ensenada and Mexico departing 16 September to 14 October.
Artists and filmmakers from Pixar Animation Studios will also be on hand to give passengers a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process used to create their animated features and shorts including the company’s newest release, “Brave”.
In addition the cruise will include an art exhibition onboard with storyboards, character sketches and concept art on display. Passengers sailing on the Pixar voyages will also receive a commemorative lithograph created by Pixar artist and “Brave” co-director/screenwriter Steve Purcell.
The entire library of Pixar films will also be featured with viewings in the Buena Vista Theatre, Walt Disney Theatre, the poolside screen and on stateroom televisions, while “Finding Nemo 3D” will be shown at both Theatres using their state-of-the-art Dolby 3D projection systems.
