EVA’s Hello Kitty jet takes off to Tokyo & HK
EVA Air launched its new Hello Kitty jet.
The special edition aircraft took off from Taipei to Toyko’s Narita airport on Friday 22 June, following a send-off from Hello Kitty characters and airline officials at Taoyuan airport.
The Airbus A330-200, named the ‘Hello Kitty Speed Puff Jet’, is painted with clouds and the famous feline characters, while the interiors offer a range of special Hello Kitty products and cabin crew will wear pink uniforms.
EVA’s latest Hello Kitty jet – the fifth in the airline’s fleet – will now operate scheduled flights to Tokyo in the morning and Hong Kong in the afternoon. These add to existing destinations service by the Hello Kitty fleet, including Sapporo, Fukuoka, Seoul, Guam and Shanghai.
