Norwegian Cruise Line has announced the five-time Tony Award-nominated musical “Rock of Ages” will be featured on Norwegian Breakaway.
The long-running Broadway and West End show, which features songs including ‘Don’t Stop Believin’’ and ‘Here I Go Again’, will be part of the ship’s entertainment offering when it is delivered in May next year. Other shows to be included are “Burn the Floor” with ballroom and latin dancing and the “Cirque Dreams & Dinner Jungle Fantasy”.
In addition, the cruise line has enlisted the help of celebrity chef and Food Network star Geoffrey Zakarian to create and oversee its seafood eatery. The restaurant, to be known as Ocean Blue by Geoffrey Zakarian, is envisioned as a luxury seafood eatery with a dining room, a raw bar, and a more casual venue called Ocean Blue on The Waterfront. Zakarian will oversee every aspect of the dining areas and will host meet-and-greets and demonstrations on selected cruises.
