Emirates has announced it plans to operate its five daily flights from Heathrow using A380s by February next year.
The carrier will use the double deckers on all five flights from 1 February together with its daily service from Manchester. “Due to high customer demand for the A380 product, soon, travellers to and from London Heathrow will be able to enjoy our flagship aircraft on every flight,” said Salem Obaidalla, SVP, commercial operations, Europe & Russian Federation at Emirates.
“Our customers will also have a greater chance of an all-A380 experience when travelling across our network between London, Dubai and places such as Bangkok, Beijing, Tokyo, Sydney, and from 1st October, Melbourne”.
Emirates is to launch a further three new destinations in the next six months, connecting Dubai to Adelaide from 1 November four times a week; Dubai to Lyon five times a week from 5 December and to Poland daily from 6 February. In addition, its Perth flights will go triple daily from 1 March.
