Farnborough Air Show kicked off today with Qatar Airways, Korean Air and Malaysia Airlines (MAS) amongst the carriers showing off their latest aircraft.
While the former’s Dreamliner took part in a flying display, Korean Air is showing its new Sky Interior onboard its new B737-900ER.
Meanwhile Prime Minister David Cameron visited MAS’ A380 as part of his attendance. The PM was given a tour of the aircraft by MAS’ group CEO Ahmad Jauhari Yahya and Airbus’ president and CEO Fabrice Bregier. The aircraft is on static display throughout the event and will also be part of the daily aerial show, with its second A380 to be introduced on the Heathrow-Kuala Lumpur route on 14 August.
This year Farnborough Air Show is expected to have 250,000 visitors over six days. It runs until 15 July.
