Scenic Tsar

Scenic Cruises’ newest river vessel has become the first to receive Russian registration in 25 years.

The ship, named Scenic Tsar, has been approved through the stringent Russian processes which saw the vessel completely reconstructed and relaunched last month. For any ship to qualify as a “newbuild” by Russia Maritime Authority it must be a at least 80% new.

Scenic Tsar is the company’s first boutique small ship in Russia. The 112-guest ship includes continental and Russian cuisine, premium wines, beers and soft drinks at dinner, tours, entertainment, excursions, airport transfers, gratuities and baggage handling. Around 93% of cabins have private balconies; all cabins have full en-suite bathrooms, satellite TV, in-room safe and mini bar and bottled water replenished daily. The ship also offers complimentary Wi-Fi and an onboard doctor.

The vessel’s 15- and 19-day itineraries between St. Petersburg and Moscow operate from July to October this year which include four days each in St. Petersburg and Moscow. The 19-day itinerary includes four additional days in Kiev.
