Island Air, the regional carrier offering flights between the Hawaiian islands, has completed a brand overhaul, which coincided with the arrival of the airline’s new fleet of aircraft.

The rebranding comprises a new aircraft livery and logo, which will appear on the carrier’s new ATR42 and ATR72 aircraft. These new turbo-prop aircraft will replace the airline’s existing Bombardier Dash 8 aircraft, boosting capacity.

“We’ve been working on our new business model for well over a year and today, for the public’s first time viewing, we’re delighted to unveil our new look marking our new beginning,” said Lesley Kaneshiro, CEO of Island Air. “We will be the first to operate this comfortable ATR72 jet-prop aircraft in Hawaii and with additional aircraft delivery on the horizon, we’ll be Hawaii’s fastest growing inter-island carrier.”

Mark Neely, Vice President Marketing & Sales for ATR North America added; “We are pleased to support Island Air with their plan to introduce the ATR product into the Hawaiian Islands. With the complete family of ATR42 and ATR72 aircraft, Island Air will be able to serve any major airport.”

The changes to Island Air’s brand will be completed by this autumn.
