Air India has boosted its Delhi-Allahabad flight from thrice weekly to four times a week operations. The new service to the Sangam City began on 29 July, reported the Economic Times. “We have added an extra service to our Delhi-Allahabad route to celebrate the birth anniversary of J R D Tata, who was the founder of Air India. The decision to increase the flight to Allahabad was taken as it was the city from where civil aviation in India started 100 years ago,” an Air India official said.
