Holland America to feature new European routes in 2013

Holland America Line will deploy seven ships in Europe, and offer seven maiden ports of call in 2013.
The seven ships – ms Eurodam, ms Niew Amsterdam, ms Noordam, ms Prinsedam, ms Rotterdam, ms Ryndam and ms Veendam – will sail on more than 53 different European itineraries on 107 departures, ranging from seven to 64 days.
Some of the new itineraries are:
– Ryndam’s seven-day ‘Turkish Explorer’ voyage sails round-trip from Piraeus (Athens) with calls in Turkey and Greece, including an overnight stay in Istanbul. The ship departs on 7, 21 September and 5 October.
– Eurodam’s 11-day ‘Mediterranean Odyssey’ voyage sails round-trip from Civitavecchia (Rome) with an overnight stay at Athens and calls at Corfu, Olympia, Santorini, Sicily and Naples. The ship departs 29 April.
– Noordam’s 11-day ‘Adriatic Explorer’ voyage sails between Civitavecchia and Piraeus, and with overnights in Venice and Athens. The ship departs 25 April, 28 May, 4 August, 6 September and 9 October.
– Prinsendam’s 16-day ‘Mediterranean Explorer’ itinerary sails from Barcelona to Piraeus, with calls in France, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Montenegro. The ship departs on 16 September.
