Qatar Airways is to roll-out a concierge service at Heathrow and Doha airports similarly to British Airways’ service.
Staff at Qatar Airways’ Premium Terminal at Doha and Premium Lounge at Heathrow will use the devices to access information about customers and obtain flight information including any special requirements for passengers.
In the future the airline plans to use iPads to include onboard sign-up to its Privilege Club and to redeem Qmiles for upgrades or duty free purchases.
“While we will continue to offer the personal touch and unrivalled five-star service onboard, Qatar Airways will use innovation as an extension of our brand engagement to understand our customers better and set new benchmarks in service and customer experience,” said Akbar Al Baker, CEO of Qatar Airways.
