TRACY DEDMAN has been announced as British Airways’ new Regional General Manager for Greater China and the Philippines. Replacing Kevin McQuillan, she moves to the new role from her previous position as BA’s Regional Corporate Sales Manager for Greater China.
DOUGLAS MARTELL has commenced his role as IHG’s Vice President for Operations for Southwest Asia. Having joined IHG in 2001, Martell has held various roles across Australia, Japan and China, most recently as Vice President of F&B and Operations in Greater China.
JABR AL AZEEBY has been named as Emirates’ new Manager for Thailand & Indochina, replacing Khalid Bardan. Al Azeeby has previously served as the Dubai-based airline’s Area Manager in Uganda from 2008 to 2011 and Country Manager for Cyprus from 2011 to 2012.
CLAIRE FLACK has been announced as Hertz’s new International Sales & Marketing Manager for Australia & New Zealand. Ms Flack, who takes over from Kevin Doyle, joins Hertz from Millennium & Copthorne, where she was Director of International Leisure Sales .
MATTHEW CAMPBELL has been appointed to the newly-created role of Network Systems Manager with FCm Travel Solutions. Based in Sydney, Campbell has spent the past eight years working for parent company Flight Centre’s Corporate Travel Division.
VOYTEK KLASICKI has been promoted from the position of General Manager of Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives to Area Manager of the Maldives and General Manager of Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa Maldives. He has 25 years of experience in hotel management.
VELLA RAMASAWMY has been revealed as the first General Manager of the new Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi, which is scheduled to open later this year. An industry veteran, Ramasawmy has worked at Hyatt properties in Goa, Melbourne, Tokyo, Sydney and Sun City.
ZAYNE BOON has been appointed General Manager of Novotel Bangkok IMPACT. Boon joined Accor in 1992 as Executive Assistant Manager at Novotel Launceston in Tasmania and most recently worked as Regional GM at the Novotel and ibis Auckland Ellerslie in New Zealand.
CHUTIMA KAEWTA-FORTESCUE has been appointed General Manager of the Eastin Hotel Makkasan Bangkok. With 17 years’ hospitality experience, Ms Kaewta-Fortescue has worked at several Thai hotels, most recently as GM of the U Inchantree Kanchanaburi.
ELISA SAW has been named as the new Director of Marketing Communications for the Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur. She arrives at the Worldhotels property from the Hard Rock Hotel Penang where she served as Marketing Communications Manager.
