Emirates to launch double daily to Jordan

In an effort to tap into the growing regional tourism pie, Emirates has announced plans to boost its Jordan route with a double daily. Effective October 1st, the airline will double capacity on this route which began in 1986.

The airline currently flies to Amman with a combination of Boeing 777-200, Boeing 777-300 and Airbus A330-200 aircraft. The current 13 weekly flights to Amman will increase to 14 per week with an extra flight on Friday. 

Majid Al Mualla, Emirates’ Senior Vice President, Gulf, Middle East and Iran said: “In early 2013, Emirates’ A380 offering will be boosted by the world’s first purpose built A380 facility, which will be known as Concourse A.”

The airline’s top 10 markets for Jordan are Dubai, Jakarta, Shanghai, Seoul, Guangzhou, Beijing, Manila, Hong Kong, Sydney and Los Angeles.
