PAL to boost Australian services
Philippine Airlines (PAL) will increase its Australian services from the end of next month.
Effective 28 October, the national carrier will operate direct flights from Manila to both Sydney and Melbourne, ending the current triangular service between the cities. The total number of Australian flights will rise from five to seven per week, with Sydney flights operating on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and Melbourne services flying on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
All flights will be operated using PAL’s new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, offering flat beds in business class and seat-back entertainment systems in all cabins.
