Improved interaries include a full day in Amsterdam

The River Cruise Line has launched its second edition of the 2013 brochure which includes an expanded programme of itineraries and four new cruises.

The brochure also includes a dedicated programme of four star cruises with the line’s newest vessel, the ms Switzerland II.

The new cruises include a seven day journey through Amsterdam, Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges; 10 days through the Rhine and Switzerland; nine days of Baltic Isles, Berlin and Poland; and an eight day Croatian island tour.

“We have been delighted with how sales through agents have grown this year, with revenues having more than tripled,” commented Steve Goodenough, director of sales. “Our affordable product with a choice of travel arrangements by coach, rail and air has filled a niche with agents and is riding high on the back of the increase in popularity of river cruising. The introduction of our premier collection, sailing aboard the four star ms Switzerland II now gives us a broader product range that will see us grow further and maintain our leading position in the European river cruise market.”

The amendments to itineraries include a full day in Amsterdam for the ‘Amsterdam & Bulbfield Spectacular’ and an additional visit to Koblenz for the voyage from the Rhine to Switzerland.
