Al Hamra Marina inks deal with Malingri di Bagnolo

Tapping in on the potential sports segment, Al Hamra Marina recently inked a partnership with the Malingri di Bagnolo family to establish a sailing academy within Ras Al Khaimah. 
Franco Malingri di Bagnolo of the Malingri family chose this association with Al Hamra Marina, an extension of Al Hamra Village, Ras Al Khaimah’s master planned lifestyle development, due to its wind and sea characteristics offering favourable sailing conditions and three surrounding hotels appropriate for nautical tourism.
Claudio Schettino, marina manager, Al Hamra Marina said: “Sailing is an important part of Ras Al Khaimah’s tradition and we want to showcase this facility to residents and tourists alike. The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority recently stated that the region saw over five million visitors this year and we expect to see more in the near future, with leisure attractions growing in the emirate.”
