Air India flies record passengers

Air India carried an impressive 34,911 passengers on a single day on 28 October on its domestic network.
The month till 28 October saw the national carrier carry over 30,000 passengers in a single day seven times on 18, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28 October, said the airline’s press release.
The airline registered 95% seat factor on domestic flights and 69% on the international sector on 29 October. The membership of Air India’s frequent flyer programme – `Flying Returns’ has this month crossed the one million mark and was continuing to grow with 400 new members being added every day.
