Develop Kashmir as capital of adventure tourism – Minister

Jammu and Kashmir’s Minister for Tourism and Culture, Nawang Rigzin Jora has stressed the need to explore adventure tourism in the state, saying that it has vast potential for developing adventure tourism especially mountaineering and hiking. The Minister was speaking as Chief Guest at the Platinum Jubliee celebration of J&K Mountaineering and Hiking Club.
Jora pledged full support of revival of mountaineering and hiking in the state and said that the government should put all possible efforts for the development of this segment. New hiking routes between Kashmir and Ladakh will also be explored by tour operators.
