Emirates has added a Platinum tier to its Skywards frequent flyer programme.
The level is on offer to members who have earned more than 150,000 miles and will include benefits usually offered to its first class passengers such as priority check-in and access to its first class lounges in Dubai.
Privileges also include a guest, who can receive a Gold ‘Partner’ card that they can use separately. Those who qualify for the new tier will automatically be updated and receive benefits from 1 April.
“This is a significant development for Emirates Skywards. The new tier is designed to show our most valued customers how important they are to Emirates and to offer greater recognition and benefits to those who choose to fly with us on such a frequent basis,” said Thierry Antinori, EVP passenger sales worldwide at Emirates.
