The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) inaugurated its first electronic information kiosk at Nariman Point, Mumbai. 

Jayant Kumar Banthia, Chief Secretary, Government of Maharashtra and Dr Jagdish Patil, MD for MTDC inaugurate the information kiosk at Nariman Point, Mumbai.

MTDC plans to set up 300 such kiosks at various tourist destinations in the state, at government offices, railway stations and airports. Within Mumbai, the kiosks will be put at CST, Dadar, domestic and international airports, Sanjay Gandhi National Park etc. The kiosks are touch-screen and user friendly giving away all important information about the tourist destinations in English and Marathi. The kiosk also enables to book MTDC resorts and railway tickets.
