The German Travel Mart (GTM), the incoming workshop for tourism in Germany has concluded on a high note in Stuttgart.
The event was held from 5-7 May 2013. The German National Tourist Board (DZT) directed the 39th GTM together with the Stuttgart-Marketing GmBH and Region Stuttgart Marketing GmBH. “The GTM is the most important B2B platform for Destination Germany. In this forum, German suppliers met with key account managers from around the world to work together worldwide to optimally market Germany as a travel destination”, said Petra Hedorfer, CEO of German National Tourist Board.
During the three-day event, around 620 international journalists and informed buyers from 42 countries interacted with over 350 German suppliers from the hotel industry, incoming ground handlers as well as local and regional tourism organizations.
Romit Theophilus, director of sales & marketing at German National Tourist Office in India said “The Indian participants from the travel trade and media were not only updated on various attractions of destination Germany through various interactions but also availed this opportunity to explore Stuttgart and its surrounding regions”.
