Anantara has launched its second property in Vietnam – Anantara Hoi An Resort.

Formerly known as the Life Heritage Resort Hoi An, the property has been rebranded as an Anantara following Minor Hotel Group’s acquisition of Life Resorts earlier this year.

Set on the Thu Bon River in central Vietnam, approximately 35km from Danang, the resort offers 93 duplex rooms and suites, each featuring an upper level bedroom and bathroom and a lower floor lounge and porch area with day beds overlooking the river or gardens.

“We are very excited for this resort to join our Anantara portfolio, the second in Vietnam. Having acquired the Life Resorts brand at the beginning of this year, we now have a total of four properties in the country and we are also looking forward to rebranding our resort in Quy Nhon to Avani, a sister brand to Anantara, later in the year,” said Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotel Group.

Facilities at the new resort include a swimming pool and children’s pool set in a garden courtyard, a spa with four treatment rooms, and five F&B outlets, including the Riverside Café and Heritage Bar. For the corporate and events market, the Anantara Hoi An Resort also features a function room able to hold up to 140 delegates.

It becomes the second Anantara in Vietnam, following the Anantara Mui Ne Resort & Spa, which joined the brand’s portfolio in November 2011. Minor now plans to rebrand the Life Wellness Resort Quy Nhon resort under its Avani brand.
