Dnata has added Qatar Airways and SWISS to its catering operations’ client roster at Changi Airport.
The new contracts were announced along with Lufthansa’s renewal of its catering contract for another five years. The company will serve 1,500 meals a day to passengers on three daily flights departing from Singapore.
The contracts for SWISS and Qatar Airways are effective 13 May and 1 July 2013 respectively. Dnata expects to hire at least 10 additional staff to fulfil the contact commitments.
David Loft, vice president, Dnata International Catering said: “Our business in Singapore uplifts more than 4.5 million meals a year, and that number continues to grow.” In Singapore, Dnata’s catering operations service more than 24 airlines and 50 flights a day.
