Funway Holidays has launched a new debit card that agents can use to earn and spend money from incentives.
The Funway MoneyCard will enable agents to earn tax-free money on Funway bookings to the USA, Mexico, Caribbean (Sandals), Middle East and Far East and can use the card to spend online and in stores.
Agents will earn GBP10 for each booking made through Funway4Agents.co.uk and GBP5 for phone bookings.
Funway will pay all the tax and National Insurance for the card and has made it compliant with HMRC.
The tour operator has hailed the new card as “revolutionary” in travel trade incentive schemes.
“We are very excited and proud to be the pioneer of this new agent incentive. At Funway we’re passionate about supporting our travel agents and that is why we’ve introduced such an innovative new loyalty scheme,” said the tour operator’s managing director Stephen Rhodes.
“The Funway MoneyCard has been a long time in the planning and we have specifically ensured that all money earned by agents goes directly to them, not the tax man. The scheme is incredibly easy to register for and to use, plus there is no expiry date on the MoneyCard so agents can look forward to spending their money on whatever they like, whenever they like,” he added.
The USA specialist has timed the launch to coincide with Independence Day.
